I am an artist, theater set designer and art instructor in San Francisco’s Mission District. I grew up in the sun-scorched, yet fertile orchards and farmlands surrounding Sacramento, CA. Always interested in drawing and painting, I studied art at Sacramento City College, Sacramento State University and UC Davis with art instructors and fine artists Mel Ramos, Darrell Forney, Wayne Thiebaud and Greg Kondos.
For the past thirty-five years, I have freelanced as a muralist, a 3-dimensional stage prop designer and fine artist for theaters, businesses and collectors throughout the United States. I periodically teach art and set design to children at The Marsh Youth Theater and classes in mural art at Mission High School, San Francisco.
Additionally, I create murals and set designs for a number of local businesses and theaters, and continually explore my artistic vision working in oil, acrylic and charcoal.
